First stage – comprehensive tests

You will undergo a series of comprehensive medical eye examinations that last between 5-6 minutes, short, focused, and accurate examinations.

Step Two - Simulation and Matching

Matching the pigment you have chosen through computer imaging so that you receive an accurate prediction of how your eyes will look about a month after surgery, when the pigment has been absorbed into the corneal tissue.

Third stage – local anesthesia

At the beginning of the treatment, special eye drops are applied that numb the eye so that you, the patient, do not feel any pain or discomfort. The great advantage of local anesthesia is that it does not have the dangers of general anesthesia, but you still will not feel any pain during the surgery. Please note that there are cases where patients will feel a slight burning sensation when the pigment is inserted into the canal. Once the pigment is washed away, the burning will disappear, so don’t worry – it’s a matter of a few seconds.

Step Four – The laser robot goes into action!

Next, you will be introduced to the most innovative laser robot in the field of Keratosurgery in the world, the Visumax 800, a robot that has been used for medical procedures in the eye field for over 20 years. The ZEISS robot operates under the approval of the American FDA, and it allows for a precise, safe and fast procedure!

At the beginning of the surgery, the laser robot 'focuses' on the eye area and within a few seconds creates a channel in a non-invasive procedure, where the pigment of your choice is injected into the channel, all without entering the deep tissues of the eye. The entire procedure takes about 20 minutes, at the end of which you can go to the waiting room.

Step Five – Inserting the Pigment

The doctor inserts the pigment into the canal created by the robot.

Step Six – Temporary Contact Lenses

At the end of the procedure, you will be asked to wear temporary contact lenses in your eyes for a period of one to two days and/or until your doctor's checkup. The purpose of these lenses is to prevent friction when closing your eyes and to protect the laser incision area until the corneal skin tissue heals.

Step Seven – Back to the Hotel
